About me

Claudio Fenoglio was born in Pinerolo in 1976. Graduated in Pianoforte, Choral Music and Conducting, in 2008 he took a degree in Composition at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory of Turin. When he was only 24 he became Assistant Chorus Master at the Teatro Massimo of Palermo. In 2010 he was named Chorus Master of the Teatro Regio of Turin and from 2008 he is the Chorus Master of the Children’s Chorus of the Teatro Regio and of “G. Verdi” Conservatory of Turin. With the conducting of the Master Gianandrea Noseda, Claudio Fenoglio has led the Chorus of Teatro Regio in successful tours in Japan, China, Germany, Spain, France, Russia, Scotland, Canada, the USA and Finland.

In 2000 he was chosen as Assistant Chorus Master at the Teatro Massimo of Palermo.

2002
Associate of the Chorus Masters

In 2002 he was named by the Teatro Regio of Turin Assistant and, after a while, Associate of the Chorus Masters Claudio Marino Moretti and Roberto Gabbiani.

2007
Production of the Opera and Symphonic choral

In 2007 the Turin Foundation left him part of the production of the Opera and Symphonic choral seasons alternating with the Principal Master Roberto Gabbiani.

Chorus Master of the Children’s Chorus

From 2008 he is the Chorus Master of the Children’s Chorus of the Teatro Regio and of “G. Verdi” Conservatory of Turin.

In 2010 he was named Chorus Master of the Teatro Regio of Turin.
With the conducting of the Master Gianandrea Noseda, Claudio Fenoglio, critically acclaimed, has led the Chorus of Teatro Regio in both Teatro Regio seasons and successful tours in: Japan, China, Germany, Spain, France, Russia, Scotland, Canada, Finland, USA

From September 2018 to March 2020 ” Chorus Master of “Accademia Stefano Tempia”, the oldest Choral Academy of Italy (active since 1875)

Choir of the Orchestre de Paris

In February 2016 he prepared the Choir of the Orchestre de Paris, at the request of Gianandrea Noseda, for the concert Requiem de Verdi in the French season of the Cité de la musique Philharmonie de Paris.

London Symphony Orchestra and Gianandrea Noseda

In September 2017 he collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra and Gianandrea Noseda in the realization of Aida in the concert form at the prestigious Gstaad Menuhin Festival.

Prague Philarmonic Choir

In April 2018 he prepared the Prague Philarmonic Choir, at the request of the M° Gianandrea Noseda, for the concert Stabat Mater of Rossini, in the concert season of The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra at the Charles Bronfman Auditorium, Tel Aviv.

External examiner in Competitions and Auditions

He is regularly invited as external examiner in Competitions and Auditions for Chorus Artists in the main Italian Theatres:   “La Fenice” Theatre in Venice, “alla Scala” Theatre in Milan and “Massimo” Theatre in Palermo.

He has been invited to work in very important opera- symphony Institutions in the 2018/2019 season: “San Carlo” Theatre in Naples as Chorus Master, “Alla Scala” Theatre in Milan as Second Chorus Master, National Centre for the Performing arts (NCPA) in Beijing as Chorus Master in some productions

He successfully conducted the opera Pollicino by H.W. Henze, in the 2015/2016 season at the Teatro Regio of Turin, collaborating with the Conservatories of Turin, Padova, Vicenza and Bologna.

In June 2017 he was named Artistic Director of the Istituto Civico Musicale “A. Corelli”of Pinerolo (TO), Italy.
